Product Description

Neolith Mar Del Plata provides an eruption of silver veins on a sintered stone dark grey riverbed. It is inspired by Brazil’s Dark Pearl granite but it does bring improved performance. Mar Del Plata provides a striking, wavy vein pattern on a dark gray backdrop with white lines. The revolutionary Slate finish ensures that the texture of the stone can be seen and felt much as in natural granite. The color has irregular flecks, in addition to the veins and curves, which remind us of the flow of waters seen in rivers.

If you’re searching for a special beauty and strength product Neolith Mar Del Plata will tick all the boxes. Likewise, thanks to its lightweight properties combined with resistance, you can choose this material. When you have unintentional spillages, only a kitchen cloth and soapy water are all you’d need. On Neolith, you can also use other household cleaners without the need for special items.

Alternatively, you can select the 6 mm thick Mar Del Plata which is ideal for wall and furniture cladding. And also in 12 mm, the most common thickness for work surfaces and desktops.

Features and benefits of using Neolith Mar Del Plata:

RESISTANT TO UV RAYS: Since the color is 100 % natural it does not deteriorate during long periods of time when exposed to the sun or extreme temperatures.

LIGHT: The 3 mm board is just 7 kg / m2 and the 12 mm board is 30 kg / m2 which makes it easy to work with on any type of application including cladding and wall paneling.

How can I clean Neolith Mar Del Plata?

To remove dust from the surface, use a microfibre cloth. Clean your countertop on Neolith daily if necessary. You can use warm water, to which a detergent can be added, to ensure easy removal of grease marks. Because detergents may contain waxes, these can leave an oily film on the surface after certain washes. Any big brand may also use a window cleaning spray. Not only will it recover its original shine, but you can also make daily use of the spar to maintain Neolith surfaces.

Cleaning should be limited to rinse the spills off the surface immediately, and dry with an absorbent tissue. Use only a damp cloth with water and soap for the daily cleaning. Pour warm water on the stain for embedded stains then wait until it “loosens” and finally rinse or remove with a clean cloth. Consider using mats, raw sponges and stainless steel sheets.

TheSize recommends the use of a blue pad: made from soft fibres, suitable for glass cleaning, a kitchen appliance and non-stick frying pans. Do not use caustic soda or pH-higher than 11 items. Rinse with plenty of water if you use bleach, and never leave it in direct contact with the smooth surface of the Neolith.

Stop scraping abrasive cleaners such as Cif Cream (Soft Scrub Cream Cleansers) from the floor. To position cooking pots or other kitchen hardware on the table, use plates, cloths, napkins, and glass coasters. Never cut food directly on the table, using a chopping board or cutting board. Do not pull or drag on to the counter kitchenware, pans and appliances.

Can Neolith Mar Del Plata be repaired?

For a variety of reasons Ceramic surfaces can get damaged. And likely it’s because of an effect from a large object like cooking pots. Neolith Sintered stone can be restored by having the surfaces previously cleaned with acetone, allowing it to evaporate before proceeding. We suggest that you contact a professional who can blend an epoxy in two pieces, adding the color to tint the epoxy to suit your Neolith countertop. They must manually grind the excess resin at the edge to prevent damage to the soil.
