Dekton Feroe is a new color from the Dekton Chromica Collection, inspired by nature’s wilderness. Dekton Chromica Feroe presents a minimalist surface with green and blue colours, reminiscent of natural landscapes’ subtleness.

Chromica Collection Dekton Feroe is made by mixing a highly developed mixture of porcelain, quartz, glass, and raw materials. This results in an ultracompact surface that is highly heat resistant, freezing, scratching, staining. It is also suitable for indoor as well as for outdoor applications.

Additionally, Dekton resists UV rays, ensuring that with the passage of time the material will not degrade nor fade. It also has low thermal expansion, ensuring thermal shocks do not occur when exposed to either high heat and/or freezing. And also, its high resistance to abrasion offers an easy-to-work surface, ensuring they never require sealing.

Dekton Feroe allows you to continue your designs in interiors and exteriors if you are looking for stability in colour. Matching materials can be used which are unique in colour , texture and finish. Likewise, Dekton can be tailored to larger projects. This allows architects and designers to create a unique product to reinforce the brand of the project.

Dekton surfaces are also available in 3200×1450 mm slab formats, in most colors and 3170×1420 mm formats. You can rest assured; the size of those slabs brings a whole new world of possibilities for design. As an example, seamless wide surfaces can be produced in kitchens, floors, bathrooms and facades.

What is Dekton?

Dekton is a sintered stone, made from a unique formula of natural quartz stone, porcelain, glass and other raw materials.  These organic components are blended and compressed with extreme pressure to result in a product that is impervious to staining and highly resistant to scratches and heat.
How heat resistant is Dekton?

Due to its technical characteristics, Dekton Feroe can withstand up to 300 C of heat. This enables the end-user to drag pots and pans directly on to its surfaces without damaging the stone. Despite this claim, it always best to use a trivet to place hot items from the oven.

How to Clean and Maintain Dekton surfaces?

For daily maintenance, you can use a window spray and kitchen cloth. Dekton is totally non-porous and it will never require sealants or additional coatings.

For Limescale marks, you can use white vinegar, leaving it to rest for one minute. Rinse with plenty of warm water and a scouring pad. Dry with a kitchen towel.

Feroe is available in thicknesses of 4 mm, 8 mm, 12 mm, 20 mm and 30mm. We recommend 4 mm, 8mm and 12mm for cladding; and 12mm thickness and over for kitchen worktop and countertop applications.

Dekton uses a Sintered Particle which works at a molecular rather than granular level, which ensures the material has practically zero water porosity, enabling it to work on any environment and foods including colourants such as curry, lemon, coffee and ketchup.
